Position Overview:

As an Advanced Service Technician at Cook Tire, you hold a pivotal position in upholding our commitment to excellence in automotive service. Your role extends beyond technical prowess and professionalism to encompass a deep dedication to providing the highest levels of customer service, guiding customers through informed vehicle repair decisions with transparency and clarity. Your expertise in vehicle repair, combined with a firm grasp of productivity standards sets the standard for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate mastery in automotive service repair, ensuring that vehicles are repaired to meet manufacturer specifications and company's standards of quality and customer experience.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a transparent and informative manner, guiding them through service decisions with clarity and professionalism.
  3. Mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their growth and development within the operation.
  4. Collaborate with the service team to streamline operations and ensure the seamless delivery of automotive services that exceed customer expectations.
  5. Maintain awareness of evolving vehicle technologies and industry developments.

Qualifications:

  1. ASE certifications:
  2. A2: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
  3. A3: Manual Drive Train and Axles
  4. A4: Suspension and Steering
  5. A5: Brakes

A proven record of accomplishment of excellence in vehicle repair and customer service.

Effective communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to customers clearly and understandably.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to mentoring and developing apprentices and junior technicians.

Dedication to upholding the company's standards of excellence in automotive service and customer experience.

Must possess the necessary tools to effectively carry out job responsibilities.
